Cosmetics & Customization
Your avatar gets more personality with several new options:
- New Accessories: Bandit masks, blindfolds, and themed mouths (Vampire, Orc, Cute).
- Armor Visibility: Added toggles to show/hide individual armor pieces directly in the character panel. Server hosts can enforce rules for PvP/Immersion purposes.
- Visual Upgrades: Reworked several hairstyles and improved cape animations while running.
Gameplay & Balance
Progression and farming systems have received major adjustments:
- Mining Progression: Adamantite now requires a Thorium or Cobalt pickaxe. Lower-tier pickaxes are now less effective against high-tier ores.
- Necromancy: A new item allows users to raise skeletal minions from bone piles (rare drop from the Praetorian Skeleton).
- Farming: Hoes now unlock earlier in the progression. Tilled soil lifetime increased to 1.2 - 1.5 days.
- Renewable Resources: Flower petals are now craftable, making colored dyes and cloths more accessible.
UI/UX & Accessibility
New features to enhance your gaming comfort:
- Ophidiophobia Mode: An accessibility option that turns snake models into "Hatworms" for players with phobias.
- Inventory Shortcuts: Added Q, E, R, T keys for quick actions (sort, pull all, put all, quickstack).
- Indicators: Active hotbar slots are now more visible, and player markers now display on the compass.
- FPS Counter: An official option to display frames per second is now available in the settings.
Technical & Server Updates
For administrators and modders:
- Auto-Update System: Introduced an automatic server update system with player notifications and management commands.
- WorldGen V2: Public documentation prepared for modders, along with new world templates (Flat and Void).
- Shadows & Mantling: Improved shadow rendering and fixed detection issues for the mantling system.
