An Intensive Launch Week
Since the servers opened on January 13th, the Hytale team has maintained a steady pace of updates. After resolving the most critical day-one crashes, the January 15th patch shifts focus toward player comfort and server robustness.
Connectivity and Network Stability
Several adjustments have been made to ensure players stay in the game, even during minor network hiccups:
- Smart Connection Management: The game now automatically switches to offline mode if authentication fails, preventing players from getting stuck on loading screens.
- Clock Synchronization: Final fix for "invalid token" errors caused by system clocks being slightly out of sync.
- Server Stability: General improvements to reduce latency and prevent server crashes in high-density player zones.
Optimization and Gameplay Fixes
This update also brings notable fluidity gains for the game client:
- Boosted Performance: Optimized background task scheduling, providing more stable FPS on mid-range setups.
- Item Physics: Fixed a frustrating issue where dropped items could get stuck inside blocks.
- Character Creation: Crashes related to hairstyle and eyebrow selection are now completely resolved.
Reminder: If you experienced issues with workbenches during the previous patch, remember to break and replace them to restore functionality.
